In our family-oriented facility, we respond to your recreational and emotional needs as well as your medical requirements. Each patient’s personal interests and lifestyle are incorporated into your own recreational therapy program wherever possible. Diversional activities can often relieve the stress and anxiety associated with being ill. Lakeview’s activities incorporate goals for an easier transition to independent living. We’re expanding these programs regularly and welcome your requests!

Activities are planned to meet the needs of all residents wherever they may be on their journey through life. Our recreation staff will be happy to guide you on selecting programs to enhance each resident’s quality of life.

Recreation department is fully staffed seven days a week with an energetic team of Recreation Assistants and certified Recreational Director. We offer a variety of daily, weekend and evening programs to meet everyone’s needs. Of course, residents’ families are always welcome to join our activities or special events. Frequent trips on the Lakeview bus takes us to dinner theatre parties, mall shopping trips, breakfast & lunch outings or to Shop Rite and Kmart where residents can shop for things they may need.

Our comprehensive evaluation of each resident determines their capabilities to direct them towards the best possible activities that will make them feel at home. When our residents are happy, so are we!

*SUBACUTE CARE: is a comprehensive, cost-effective and outcome-oriented approach to care for patients requiring short-term, complex physical or medical rehabilitation from a physician-directed interdisciplinary team. Subacute programs typically are utilized as an alternative to prolonged hospitalization or as an inpatient alternative to an acute care hospital stay.
